Travis Alltop is the Pastor of Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church in Danville, KY having accepted the call to the pastorate there in December 2007. Having a love for bluegrass and acoustic music, Travis has had the privilege of recording three traditional, bluegrass gospel projects over the past few years with some very talented friends. Players collaborating with him on these projects include Jim Britton (banjo & finger-style guitar), Darrin Vincent (acoustic bass & harmony vocals), Andy Leftwich (fiddle & mandolin) and his wife, Rachel (harmony vocals) along with a few other special guests. Brother Alltop played music in a professional setting for several years before being called into the ministry. His musical background has allowed him the opportunity to minister with his guitar in nursing homes, county jails, prisons and of course, local churches. It was through these ministries that the idea of recording some full-length gospel albums was born.
